National Timorese NGO, Belun, in partnership with Columbia University’s Center for International Conflict Resolution welcome you to their latest Situation Review. Conflict analysis across 43 sub-districts monitored by the EWER system showed conflict trends decreased during May after the completion of the Presidential Election.
Whilst decreased from the month prior, alcohol-related conflict continued during May. Reported incidents included physical and verbal assault, stone throwing between groups and property destruction.
