The EWER system recordedAi??112 violentAi??incidents, including seven Rama Ambon (slingshot arrow) shootings in Dili perpetrated byAi??unknown attackers. The shootings were mostly initiatedAi??from the passenger seatsAi??of motorbikes during the evening or nighttime, and predominantly occurredAi??in the Western suburbs of Dili (Comoro and Bairo-Pite).Ai??An increase in Martial Arts Group-related violence was also recorded. In one such incidentAi??in Likisa Municipality, one person was killed and ten houses were torched.
